get some kingston pc100 valuram from onvia. i got mine tuesday, infineon chips. :D

kingston MIR suck... thats for sure. I've purchased memory from upgrade planet. Had no problems with their sticks at all. Low-grade simply means generic. They saw "low-grade" so you feel so uncomfortable that you by high grade instead to feel better. :)

usually it just means generic pcb too, which is meaningless. it's the chips that actually matter.

actually pricewatch has this listed at $40.00 now with the price still crashing down!
pisses me off cuz I bought mine earlier this week for $46, well at least i can Quake better now..
btw, no MIRs either....

just a simple search on pricewatch, but damn have ram prices been goin down, 256mb pc100 is down to like $82!!!!!! that's so crazy compared to like a few months ago when it was almost a buck a mb!

Get it while you can. I have two comps running with 512MB of ram each. I think I just might buy some more .... NO NO. You could wait for DDR RAM to come out and be supported. I'd have to go AMD.
