OK here is the situation. FEB 14th, Im sitting here thinking, would be nice if I could get a grant to get some other work done to my home, and thought about some of the late night infomercials saying for the price of a stamp I can get a cd that will help me start the process. So I decided what the heck, there may be more charges later, but maybe I can pull enough info off the cd, and the internet, I can take over from there so I order one off the internet using paypals one time use secure credit card, so that if its a scam I dont have to worry to much in them having my actual credit card through paypal attached to my account. To this day I have yet to get my disc, and had forgotten all about it till this morning.
Then today I get a note on my desk from my wife asking me about a $75 charge out of the bank through paypal. I check and it pops in my head after seeing the name it was that fly by night grant place, that never sent me the damn cd. And then it hit me that I used a one time use only credit card to order the cd over 2 weeks ago, how the hell did they use it again, and this time charge $75 out of my account, and how in the MOTHER FUC....SHUT YO MOUTH, did paypal allow the charge to go through on a one time use credit card that had been used already?!?!?!?!?
So I called paypal, I can dispute the charge, both the $3.95 for the cd, and this whopping $75 one, but the lady I talked to on the phone couldnt tell me why the other 2nd charge went through. Said it shouldnt of, like duh I know that, but she just said she didnt know why, would look into it, and call me if she finds anything out on it.
So what the hell good then is the one time card. I know when I use it it has a expiration date between a month, month and a half, but its supposed to be canceled out once the charge goes through on it, not stay open for the whole time so if some ass hat site or robber gets a hold of the numbers cant go on a shopping spree during the whole time, thats why its a one time use being made, not a multi use secure card.
WTF paypal, bad, very bad, as usual, not feeling very save with your hands in my cookie jar. Now I got to spend $1 on postage, and wait a week or so to get my money back. Not cool at all.

If anyone cares to know so you dont get taken its called GrantHelpOrders.com that did this, and seems Im not the only one they did this to, and when I went to their site to cancel out my "membership" I got a email stating they have no record of me, go figure, right?
