What make me sick is the fact that Wallstreet already know about a possible upcoming patent infringement lawsuit and regulatory problems from state governments that could shut it down. And angry net users like us Anandtechors bad mouthing off it on the Internet. Still Paypal's stock soars 55 percent in debut IPO a few days ago???

Anyone that has been using Paypal for awhile know how bad they are. They constantly change their terms of use. Add to that bad customer service, and horrible customer protection against fraud. Come one people, Paypal is not even a real bank and therefore don't have protection like regular bank has! The bad lists and horror stories are endless, you can bad mouth them all day! With big competitors like Citibank, whom has great experience in "REAL" money handling, Paypal is less attractive for any experienced net users.

I would venture a guess that 95% of the traders here at AT use Paypal. I use it extensively. I don't like them switching terms, and I've never had a dispute, so I can't comment on that, but I consider myself generally happy with my expierences with them.
 
LOL!, this was bound to happen. If anyone cought the special that Tech TV did on paypal you would see how truely screwd up paypal is. Tech TV even went as far as talk to the BBB, there was said to be over 34,000 complaints on paypal. Rightly so, the guy who manages it looks like a complete prick. The whole issue seems to be paypal not taking responsibility when funds are lost or when mistakes are made. And also bad communication, anyone who's had trouble with paypal knows how hard it is to contact anyone at paypal for help.

Personally I hope paypal goes out of business due to my experiences with them. I agree that guy did look like a prick.

As for TechTV, I must have watched a different program on the channel than you did. I know Leo Laport was actually defending paypal saying well, its just growing pains. I say that is BS.

Most of the TechTV show hosts with their biased opinionsI can't stand as it is.
