PayPal Question

I bought something online using PayPal's "Virtual Debit Card" that gives you a mastercard number linked to your account, and I needed to obtain a refund for the product. The vendor put in the refund for the card, but my paypal account isn't showing the money. how long is it supposed to take?

How long has it been since the refund has been issued? It can take up to a week.

I should have a refund coming through shortly - returned ~$140 of hardware to newegg..hopefully it won't take too long - I need $108 in the account in the next few days...looks like I might end up in FS/T again, asking to borrow paypal..heh

I waited two and half weeks once after NewEgg received my RMA, I called them and was furious that it took so long. They said that they were sorry and must have been overlooked.

Maybe for you but I have been using it for almost three years and I have never had a problem with it.

Hi NuclearFusi0n,

Credits typically take several business days to clear back (just like a normal credit card). I would probably give it 2-3 business days to hit.
