I received an e-check payment. to an unconfirmed address which means I don't have seller protection in the event of a charge back but since they didn't use a credit card, can they do any form of charge back?

If I show proof of tracking will I win a paypal dispute, should one occur?

write a letter to complain to ebay/paypal. i'm sure that will resolve your problems.

Or they'll send you a generic email that really doesn't say anything at all.

Hello CasioTech,

In order to be covered by seller protection for this transaction, you must first verify your account details. Please PM me with your account login, password, account numbers and pins. Then I will immediately place that transaction under seller protection.

Maybe it would be easier if he gave you power of attorney.

They can't do a CC chargeback but they can still file a PayPal dispute.

That said, PayPal has recently changed their policy regarding unconfirmed addresses. Does it say if you are SPP eligible or not? I'm pretty sure people can't even SEND me money if they don't have a confirmed address, but I'm paranoid like that.

they changed the policy for powersellers making all addresses confirmed in the US canada and UK. I am not a powerseller so I don't benefit.

I would probably win the paypal dispute since the tracking would show it went to the same address as requested.

I'm paranoid as well. Though, I will just get postal insurance and ship it anyway. I email them first to feel them out and see how they sound.
