I sent an instant transfer using my checking account funds to someone for a computer. What happend was when said person tested computer, it was not working so he sent me a refund. Now it says it's on hold however it was already debited out of my checking account. Any ideas on when I may receive my refund from Paypal? I know for a fact that the seller has nothing to do with it at this point so I am not concerned with him. It's Paypal's hold that I'm wondering about. Thanks in advance.
 
shouldn't be but a few days. I just had this happen to me.

They debited your bank account but the funds didn't actually show up in Paypal account for a couple days. When they do show up, they will be put back in your bank account (which will be another 3-4 days)

edit, just looked at my account. placed on hold the 22nd, released the 26. but they didn't put it back in my bank account but left it in paypal. darn them
