You don't have to add any funds to your balance, they will electronically draw it to cover the payment. But you can if you want. Note that their withdrawals happen instantly while their payments take two to three days...

I'm sorry it offended you, but, as far as I know, I didn't break any rules, so you're just going to have to deal with it. And, as you said, this is a public forum.

For instance, You can get a kickass deal on a new iPod Touch at 20% off, but nobody is sure yet if it'll work or not.

I'd hold off on ordering anything until something is comfirmed.

I ordered about $250 worth of equipment; when I checked out using Paypal, it mentioned the 20% off under the Promotions field above the final total. It seems to apply to anything; I got a FoodSaver vacuum-sealing machine for my kitchen and it worked just fine.

on the paypal checkout page, it lists the "20% off paypal promo" under promo codes or whatever, so I assume everything is included. I just bought a samsung 226bw monitor and am on toysrus looking for some stuff now

I used a credit card too btw

Heads up, this is $50 dollars total per account and not per tranaction. Going to use this to score a Q6600 for $229 after credit. (Crosses fingers in hopes of getting a G0 stepping)

Glad to hear that everything seems to be covered. Unfortunately I've already overspent my budget for the quarter...

Just ordered a VisionTek 3870 from Dell w/paypal which brings the total (AR) to 193.97. That is with sales tax. I had 23 bucks in there so 173.97 shipped. Pretty nice.

NewEgg has the XFX 8800GT (670MHz) available for $309 if you are looking for one and it is eligible for the PP promotion.

Yeah, if you check the Paypal Holiday page, it no longer displays Newegg or Dell, which is troubling because I was going to order a 3850 from Dell for ~$140 before tax, but went to go finish up Crysis for a bit.

lol Newegg has already dropped out of the promotion, after less than a day. What a bunch of A holes. I was actually considering upgrading with this deal too, oh well.

Well, it was there earlier (about 30 minutes ago) when I placed my Dell order. They had better honor it!! :Q:|

Fine print at the bottom of the page that says it's over says it lasts until the 28th. Idiots forgot to edit that part out.

LOL. Yet another promotion that looks good on paper, but is ill-conceived in reality...

eToys has also ended their participation and ToysRUs can't process any more PayPal payments. Sounds like a meltdown at PayPal since the discount is theirs and not the retailer's.

I sent them a nasty-gram. It won't do any good, but I'm not buying anything from them for the foreseeable future. Incompetent buffoons.
