paypal premier question - fees on non cc payments

i have received a cc payment and have to upgrade to premier to accept it. does anyone know if non cc payments on a premier account also incur a fee or is it just cc payments???

thanks!

I have a premier acct too, and I'm pretty sure its only cc payments that incur a charge. non cc payments, like instant transfer from their checking accts or from paypal acct to paypal accts don't incur a fee.

<< Hi,
All payments that are received by a Business/Premier account are charged fees.
>>

Hey, are you on any other forums or just this one?

Well, I had to reject the credit card payment. I shipped the goods anyway in good faith.

Im not going to pay 3% for CASH payments. Credit card payments sure, but if I accepted this one, then ALL PAYMENTS would be charged.

Phooey on that.

it used to be that you didnt get charged on the check payments, but now you do. like90% of my incoming is credit cards and i'm on merchant rate 2.2% anyways. i really think maybe i should get another paypal account for checks only so that i dont have to deal with it.

I was thinking the same thing...

<< Yup, all payments are charged now, extremely lame. Think I'm gonna start phasing out PayPal... >>

there really isnt a better alternative though. paydirect has the same fees. billpoint does too.
c2it doesnt have fees. but if you use a non citibank card you get charged 3% for SPENDING. not to mention they have $500 daily send limit, and their website sucks ass.
