If ur reciving paypal, what is the difference to u between direct bank and credit card methods?

Basicly why dont people like to accept cc paypal, askin cuz i'm thinking about selling some stuff.

because you have to upgrade your account type to accept credit cards and you pay fees for lots if stuff.

I personally have a US Premier Account
and I know its needed to accept CC payments via paypal

if you have a personal account. Then, you can only accept non-cc payments.

the fees are relatively high for every payment received using a Premier Account.
Many do not want to pay the additional fees for no reason.
so they rather set up a personal account and not deal with more deductions. Already as a seller, you are subjected to listing and final value fee off an item auctioned and successfully sold.

IIRC, Paypal keeps 3.5% from cc transactions, but not from direct bank transfers.

Overseas charge without merchant rate is

3.9% + 30 cents of whatever that is sent.
In that case,
don't ever sell a 99 cent item overseas and accept paypal LOL
end up loosing after all your advertising work.
