First of all (contrary to the first line in their email), I NEVER contacted them about anything! I signed onto my account today to see that $22.50 has been removed from my remaining balance of about $40. I got this money thru sales on egay. Now, the items have been sent out over a month ago and then paypal just STOLE the money out of my account today!! I now have nothing to show for my merchandise. How can they even do this?? I am screwed!!

That's a bunch of crap! I usually get all my $$ out of paypal as soon as I get it though. Maybe it's time to just do things the old fashioned way again!

Unfortunately, I think they are just complying with the law. The funds have to be returned, though normally I think the credit companies would eat the loss.

I'd contact them and see what will happen.

Even if he hadn't left his funds in his account, paypal could dispute the charge through his credit card company from their end and get credit back. This is a classic example of a good sale gone bad. People on egay suck in some cases, but luckily I've had almost all good experiences and paypal has saved me both a lot of time and money.

That is the reason why I ALWAYS take the money out ASAP once someone sends me my $$$.

Rnager X:

I read somewhere on the FS/T (I think) that someone who previously had 0.00 in their account ended up with a negative amount when PayPal withdrew the disputed amount. So any payments received in the future would go towards bringing that negative total to 0.00.

Hi,

Please read the email that was sent to you. The fraud department is asking for information about the delivery/purchaser of the item(s) and the money is pending until the documentation is presented. You would need to provide information about delivery and proof of delivery in order to not be held liable for the charge back.

Sorry for the problems you have had with the sender.
