So about a month and a half ago I purchased an OEM replacement exhaust pipe for my car on one of the acura boards before I went on my trip to Japan. I sent the guy my funds and he told me he would send me tracking info shortly after.
Well I had limited access to internet while i was in Japan so I didn't really have a chance to keep up but I recieved no word from him after. When I got home there was no package (2 weeks is more than enough time to ship and deliver) So I immediatly contacted him via Email and but recieved no reply for a week.
I decided to file a claim through paypal and I waited for him to reply but he didn't do it within the 10 day period. So I automatically won the claim but he had already withdrew the funds into his bank account so they were unable to get my money back. I recieved an email from him shortly after the case closed stating that he would ship it if i would cancel the claim but it was already too late.
He wanted me to cancel the claim before he would send me either my money back or the exhaust pipe. I still need the exhaust pipe so I can pass my smog test in the up coming months so I tried to work out a deal but he keeps beating around the bush. He tells me that i need to cancel the claim (if I do I will lose my buyers protection) so I told him I wouldn't and to refund me my money and we could start the transaction over again. Last thing I heard from him was that he was putting the money back in his account and I would have it within 4 days, well that was almost a week ago and I'm starting to get pissed off with this guy.
Paypal is of no help they say they can't do anything except prevent him from using their services until this claim gets settled.
