Does anyone use these two? I have a balance on my PayPal credit (made big purchase with 0% interest for 6 months) but I can not get it to show up in my mint.com account. There's like 10 different options for PayPal listed and none (that I can tell) seem to actually apply my balance in Mint. No matter which one I choose, it shows my balance as $0.00 (whcih is my PayPal account balance) but it does not show the amount I ow in PayPal Credit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Personally, I would not trust that service or Quicken or anything else that wants all my accounts logins and passwords. https://bucks.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/07/06/should-you-trust-mint-com/
There are other ways to keep track of things locally. Just like with electronic bill pay. There are 2 ways to do it. 1): You go one the site you want paid and enter your bank / checking account info (bad way to do it) ... 2): Put the accounts you want to pay on your banks account management page. This way, they get the account number of who you are Paying and you can pay all bills from one page (much easier and I think much more secure)

I pay all my bills through my bank(s) directly. Via their websites.
I use Mint as a 1-stop-shop for tracking and organizing.

Right, so do I. I could never understand why someone would give the Payee info about their bank. Much safer and easier the other way.

I use mint for nearly all my accounts. Intuit has plenty of other highly secured offerings (turbotax, quickbooks, etc) where I'm not particularly concerned about security of my information.

Concurrently, I also bill pay through all my payment accounts vs from my bank itself. Are you scared of giving someone a check? Because the same information is provided, account & routing number. If anyone tried to ACH from my bank without my permission, I suspect it would be easy to recover the funds. I find from previous experience that paying from the payment account is much much faster vs bill pay from my bank.

Why would I need a seperate payment account when most banks, will do a 1 day ACH Payment for no charge ? I always send it a day early, so the Payee account will post it on time.

I love Mint. It has changed my life. I have used it for years, since it was “Check.” (Before Intuit, and even before it was Mint.) It is secure, and the tech support is great. I just used the tech support for the first time yesterday. The budgeting feature is great. I do a few minutes maint every morning, making sure my transactions are all in the correct categories and making any changes that are needed. It is fun to use and has completely organized my finances. So...I have never used PayPal much, but I am going to start, and I googled to find out whether Mint can track PayPal. I can tell by your post that it does. Thanks. Did you ever solve your problem with it?
