PayPal CC or premier account...

I'm selling something on eBay, and even though I specifically said "I prefer PayPal non-CC" the buyer still sent me a PayPal CC payment...

Now I need a premier account to receive that payment, and PayPal is going to take away about 2.5% of the transaction, and in addition the buyer has an "unverified address".

I understand how the CC payment would protect the buyer's interest, but my question is how would a seller benefit from the premier account? And what should I watch out for because the buyer has an unverified address? (Altho she does have 100% feedback and about 60 ratings on eBay)

Thanks

you can receive like 5 cc payments for personal account. paypal changed their policy, check it yourself. the fee will be more tho.

eBay sellers are now REQUIRED to have a Primer or Business account.

Really? Is that a new rule? I haven't sold on eBay in a while.

See, this is becoming more and more suspicious...

The buyer used 2 different email addresses, the first one was for her eBay contact, and the second one (yahoo.com email) was for her PayPal Credit Card with Unconfirmed Address.

Even though her eBay account has 100% feedback and 52 ratings, it looks like her last purchase was in May of 2005, so it's a little iffy.

Is there a way to check how long has a PayPal account been registered? Besides confirming the PayPal address, is there another way to confirm the buyer's legitmacy?
