Just curious, has anyone used this? I am always looking for ways to spend money I don't actually have.

I've used it a few times, and didn't really have any problems. It is basically a small line of credit. The first time I used it, it gave me 3 months to pay the bill without interest, which was handy because I needed the computer parts but didn't have the cash at the time (years ago). The second time I used it because the website didn't want to authorize my Visa bank card for some reason, but I also got $10 off the purchase and no interest charges so hey. The third time was because the prior purchase that gave me $10 also gave me another $10 credit, so I went ahead and used that.

Their interest rates are worse than a credit card usually, but they often run specials or deals with websites. And like credit cards they have a grace period, so if you pay off the balance within the period you don't get charged any interest or fees.

All in all, no bad experiences really so long as you treat it like it is - an unsecured high interest line of credit that can bite you if you let it carry a balance.

So as long as I pay it off all by october, I am good to go? I haven't really looked at specifics.

as long you pay whatever is owed before grace period ends (including your minimums) 0 $ interested owed. If not, you're gonna pay up whatever deferred interested that you owed as well.

Probably obvious, but do they check your credit each time you use it? Would hate to have a hard pull for something so minor.

If they do check your credit, it's only when you first sign up. Once you sign up, they keep your account open till you close it. I had it open and unused for years and it was sitting right there waiting for me when I used it again.

I bought my last bunch of computer parts at Newegg using Bill Me Later. It was the first time I used them. I received a $10 bill credit and no payments or interest for 6 months. I paid it off within 60 days, and had no problems. Good service as long as you pay your balance off prior to the end of the deferred interest period.....just like any other store card.
