I read also that they could be charged a crapload of fines starting from when they first started business.

I don't really understand what everyones beef is with Paypal.

They provide a virtual "checking account" at a better rate than most banks.

And they provide a vitual "credit card merchant account" at a better rate than most credit card companies.



Yes, you may have some problems if you accept money from a stolen credit card, but
if you follow their policy (send only to Verified members and addresses) then you shouldn't have a problem


Real world credit card companies do this, too. Its called a "chargeback"
All a card holder has to do is contest a charge on their card
and the merchant loses the money.
