im just fricken pissed right now because I sold something on ebay 2 weeks ago for a lot of money and my $ is frozen in Paypal until I upload shipping info or until the buyer leaves me positive feedback, otherwise I have to wait 21 days... so I uploaded a tracking # and the fkn package got to this guy in 3 days but my $ is still pending.... I asked the guy to leave me feedback twice but he said he hasn't had time to check out my item. WTF?!?! Now its been 2 weeks and my fkn $ is sitting where I cant get it, and I really need it.

Take Postal MOs or Cashier's checks only ...

Paypal has been doing this at rando the last year or so. You need to call Paypal & talk to them. Tell them the package has been delivered & point out the tracking # to them. You dont have to wait for the guy to leave feedback.

I have been dealing with ebay and paypal for the last 6 months. When I first started dealing with them the high ticket items they did hold payment until reciept of the item.

There are several things you can do to expidite that 21 day waiting period.
Be very nicer to the buyer.
Explain that you need the money and as soon as he get the item you would appreciate immediate positive feedback.

The next thing is always ship the item insured and signature needed.

As soon as you ship the item go immediately to paypal and add the tracking ## so they have it from the start.

Then I always call again or e-mail the buyer telling them it`s on the way and reminding them to add positive feedback.

Finally usually on low ticket items you will not have to jump through these hoops!

I'm glad I got my feedback to 100 so I don't have to deal with that garbage anymore. The whole reason people sell things on ebay is to make some quick cash. It kinda defeats the purpose when you have to wait 21 days for the funds to clear then another 3-4 days for the EFT to clear.

yeah i feel your frustration. I am ebay verified and paypal verified and paypal asked me for my SSN. I gave it to them as well as my bank account information and now they asked for my supplier information. After you give that to them they ask you to fax them a copy of your driver's license, bank statements, etc, etc. It just never ends. The moral of the story is sell your stuff on craigslist or give amazon.com a try.
