Paypal... adding a new card?

Do I need a credit card to use Paypal? I set up my account but I dont have a credit card.

I have an Interact card from my bank, however Paypal doesn't see this as an acceptable card. Do I just not use my Palpal account until I get a credit card?

I applied for one about a week ago and was told I would get a letter in a few weeks.

I think I fed my PayPal acct with my webcertificate, see if you can start a Webcert with your Interact card.

It's an online "gift certificate", you "spend" it online by using it like a MasterCard (16 digit acct # with an expiration date).
