No, read the part above, I'll quote him here :

"My son is 5. I'm thinking something fun, inexpensive and safe would make a good first car for him. Perhaps a non-modded WRX...of course, a lot can change in the automotive world between now and the time he starts driving.

Edit-Or he could have one of my expensive road bikes."

He's actually talking about a real motor vehicle, just way on down the line (11 years from now?)

Road bike = motorcycle.

Road bike = bicycle, and that's what he meant.

Google and the rest of society agree.

with additional options, the 08 bmw 335 xi coupe came out to be 51k. we bargained and talked and finally left cause the dealer wouldnt budge. is it normal to pay msrp for bmw?

the other car we looked at was the lexus IS awd with msrp of 39k. i got it down to 36k. but my friend only wanted it for 34k. we came home empty handed.

change dealers.

Use the internet, a few BMW car dealers do give prices over the net and they do so because they want your business. Too many dealers (BMW bike dealers included) act as if they are doing you a favor by selling one.

Also consider the fact that the majority of their sales are now leases and the people who typically go that route are after inferred status, like whatever your driving somehow means something.

Ah, my mistake then 🙂

Given the context of a WRX, and the mention of 'road', I 'ass'umed incorrectly 🙂 Had visions of a real bike 😀

eh, that's not a really fair comparison. they may both be using a samsung panel, but whatever driving them might be different. and besides, as much as i hate sony, their bravia line is pretty damn spectacular.
