Yeah there is. Instead of plugging into the WAN interface just plug everything into the switch ports. This will eliminate the routing functions of a soho router. You might need a crossover cable to connect this way.

You can run sort of a aim-spoke server that allows people to telnet into an aim environment from a command line environment. This is what I figured he was setting up. A setup like this would require the ability to handle a multitude of _incomming_ aim connections. Original poster did not specify the diretion of the connections he wanted to establish.

Then why doesn't he tell us this? So far he has just ignored any question regarding his reason for setting this up, but always responds to questions he deems okay.

Probably because it doesn't further his inquiry any. He just wants to know how to do it.
