I will say the game has a few shortcomings, but im having a blast with it.

Same here. It's great fun. I don't have any issue with the leveling or money. I play with a full organized crew and we are having a good time. I'm not sure what all of the butthurt is about.

Pulled off my first silent heist during the night club mission. Nerve racking as hell and it was on over kill setting, so much fun.

Joined. Hit me up anytime for some games, as long as you aren't completely fresh/new.

LOL OK, note to self.. I can never play with you.
Played last night...First time.
HAD A BLAST. but lets make NO MISTAKE. I SUCK.

Time and life have taken its toll on my reaction time.

This game is adreniline pumping machine.
Nothing better than being in a CRAZY firefight and you are yelling "How much time left on the drill?" And the doomed answered comes back "183 seconds".

Or covering a stair well and hearing "they cut the power, find a circut breaker". Now I know people will bitch "They wouldnt walk to the floor above you and trip the circut breaker. They would kill power from outside.
YEAH... I get that. If you are thinking that...CHILL LOL.
It just adds the adreniline pump that is Payday 2 IMO.

I played for 3 hours, am an avid gamer.... in pretty good shape and I am now 55. I was exhausted LOL.

To comment from another post I read (Got to get back to work), Yeah, if you get "Discovered" the non stop wave of police incoming, that gets a little long in the teeth.
There were times I was BEGGING for them to frag grenade us and start over.

Little things are annoying with this game. Hundreds of police laying on the ground... I cant pick up their weaps or ammo? Bad form.

AND BEWARE OF BUYERS REMORSE. Stuff is expensive and most of your cash goes to an offshore account which is unusable and just for bragging rights, I think. Maybe in some later expansion it will have use. WHO knows.
Being a MEAT shield for my team I jumped on the first body armor I could get. My team was pretty good and I unlocked the next level up of body armor pretty damn quick.
Well there was $XX,XXX wasted that could have been used elsewhere. BUY PRUDENTLY. I bought a new gun. Modded it. For me it sucks. I need LOTS of bullets. The new gun I bought, more damage but you can only hold 120 rounds in total. I need LOTS of bullets LOL. The gun i was using I could carry 180.
To take that mod off gun "A" and add to gun "B" Big bucks (For me anyway). Thats annoyinng. I already OWN the mod. Have the skill set to attache it. Why full price again?
BUY prudently.

Yea im really confused why so much $$$ goes into the offshore account.

For me.... that is going to be a KILLER.
Like the other poster said below you... Remodding will cost a FRIGGIN fortune.
That makes me think this game wont be long for me. I will hit a wall early.

The silent heists are like the hospital mission in the first one right? Unfortunately it was the only one that had that option and my friends and I really liked it. The whole fun in heists is doing it silently. I'm glad to hear Payday 2 has more of this.

You can, in fact, pick up ammo from dead cops.

Mercy Hospital and Diamond Heist were the only two missions in Payday 1 that you could stealth all the way through.

Yeah, Payday 2 has a lot more of that. Almost all of the missions can be stealthed entirely, except maybe a couple... but you do need the right abilities and equipment to do it successfully.

Really? Good to know. I looked down and held the F or the G key several times and nothing happened?
How do you do it.

Here is a line I NEVER thought I would say; "Maybe all dead cops dont have bullets?"

The ammo appears in red boxes on the ground. You'll pick them up automatically every time you walk over them (Not every cop drops them though)

I don't like how the weapon upgrades are awarded by random chance, that is lame.

I also don't like how the way the game increases difficulty is by making the policec basically terminators that take a whole mag dump to kill each one. I wish the difficulty ramped like L4D, giving you less health and making the police more aggressive/smarter instead.

Otherwise enjoying the game so far.

I just maxed out at level 192 in Payday 1 and switched over to Payday 2. It's so much more complicated that I feel lost. There's cards and offshore bank accounts and some sort of crime.net computer system. I also have to pick out my clothes. I'm pretty sure I couldn't ride in the getaway van earlier because my shirt didn't match my pants, so I had to run to a helicopter instead. Very overwhelming for someone that loved Payday 1.

I enjoyed Payday 1 much more then 2. Didn't like the leveling system in 2 very much and I miss the mow down style.

Yeah, I watched gameplay of PD2 and thought it might be a little too frustrating.
