PAX this weekend

I live just south of seattle and I wouldn't bother.
That said, if you see a brunette girl kicking ass at guitar hero or rock band there... There's a chance I've hit that...

I was at the triwizard annual drinking tournament on thursday night, but found out from my cousin that all 75k tickets were already sold out when I planned to do a walk-in friday mourning to buy a 3-day pass 🙁. Although when my sister went out to eat in Seattle on sunday, she talked to someone from pax and he said he managed to buy a 3day pass by walk-in!!! freakin pax website lied...

It's the Penny-Arcade expo thingy, so yes your description is accurate.

actually the ratio of furry/cosplay:normal was lower than the ratio to female:male.

but to answer your question: Text

PSA - Swine Flu detected at PAX.

It's not uncommon to return from a convention with thousands of attendees and spend a few days recovering from a cold. Penny Arcade Expo is proving no different, with several on the G4tv.com team down for the count, in addition to countless updates from friends over Twitter and Facebook, announcing they're wiped. The difference? There's been a confirmed case of swine flu at PAX.

"Just heard of our first test-confirmed swine flu case at the show," reads the official PAX Twitter. "PLEASE if you feel symptoms (fever, etc) go to the doctor."

It should go without saying, but if you were at PAX this weekend and feel like you're coming down with something, better to be safe than sorry. Get it checked out.

My coworker was there, took a bunch of cool pictures. My favorite story was where Mario 1 and Mario 3/raccoon incarnation almost got into a fist-fight.
