I wonder if he is like George Foreman in that he didn't actually come up with the product idea, but another company came up with the idea of the product and just used him as a pitchman.

Isn't his company and its products non-profit? I'm pretty sure a company didn't set out to do that..after all, what's a famous actor like him to do. Might as well sell shit.

Newman's own is a for profit company. All the money goes to Paul Newman who then donates it to charity. I have no idea why they do it this way.
