Patriots vs Chargers

God I'm spent. The Patriots weren't going to blow out the Chargers, so they kept it close, played SMART, and let the Chargers show their inexperience. Those last two drives for the Patriots was classic.

The hype for next week's game is going to be UNBELIEVABLE.

Even if the Chargers had Jesus playing for them, it wouldn't help.

Honestly, if you had watched the game, you'd know it wasn't Brady who won it for the Patriots.

It was the Chargers who lost it. I don't think I have seen more mistakes in a professional football game, and I am a Panthers fan.

You can say whatever you want about Brady & the Pats, but they managed to stay just close enough to take advantage of the SD mistakes & snatch this game out of the fire.

I watched every play & am a Giants fan btw, so I know the difference between doing just enough to win & doing just enough to lose!

What? I am not even bashing Brady here, but you'd have to be retarded to not see that the Chargers completely fvcked this game up.

In fact, it was amazing the Chargers were even in a position to take it into OT considering all of the mistakes they made.

Thank god... Maybe the myriad sports writers out there will stop talking about Grossman! 🙂

Oh I completely agree with you ... SD handed this game to the Pats on a silver platter.

I wasn't trying to say you were bashing Brady exactly, but most other teams in the NFL would have lost this game & the Patriots deserve a lot of credit for winning.

Replay shows LT was definitely heading toward some Pats guys until some of them restrained him.

Ah, I thought they were restraining him because they wanted to say Good Game?

It was amazing that the Patriots stayed in position to win. In the end, the Pats manned up and the Chargers didn't. Period. Pats deserve all the credit in the world for that.

Ok, so Kaeding can't make it in the clutch. He hasn't missed one since 2 yrs ago in the playoffs. That's friggin amazing. Keep the team together, get a new coach, get rid of eric parker. Get a new WR.

Yeah but he missed a bunch in the playoff game if I'm not mistaken. I think it was against the Jets. Both kickers just kept missing.

SD gave that game away.

The personal foul wound up costing them that game.

The interception - fumble didnt help either.

Either one of those wouldve made a SD win.

I hate the Pats 🙁

However my Bears won 😀

NE doesn't deserve that, hopefully the colts D win play good for one more week.

How do you figure, last I checked the score they won the game? How are you determining that they deserved it or not?

B/c 98% of their playoff wins over the last 5 years have come off of lucky BS plays and calls by the refs (Atrue football fan would never dispute this; A blind NE fan, however....)

In this case, SD'z receivers dropped ~60% of River's passes. There's a chance the game could have been sealed by halftime.

Oh well...a couple of bonehead play/calls by SD at the end made the difference though. sigh....Tom Brady is STILL gay 😉

If he is in fact gay he's definitely one of the most successful homosexuals of all time. 😛

um it was a 54 yard attempt. i would'nt throw him to the fire for that...throw rivers to the fire instead.

Let me make up some statistics also:

zinfamous is 100% full of crap 100% of the time.

The chargers are 100% worse than the patriots at the game of football

Shottenslimer is 1% the man Belichick is.

What you're not understanding is that the Pats played bad as well until the end. It was a sloppy game all around, and the Pats just came through in the clutch, as usual.

All teams benefit from "lucky BS plays", the good ones: ie Pats take advantage and
win the game. Your team lost. Have another beer, it's OK to cry now...

/shrugs shoulders

san diego teams just arent ready for the big stage quite yet. time to look whats going on in the padres rumor mill...

Hehe...that would mean more if you wre a Bucs fan 😉

For all chargers fans trying to take away from what the Pats did, read this from your MVP:

"We lost to a better team today," Tomlinson said. "Hopefully the next opportunity we have we'll learn something from this."

 spot on. SD lost the game; bu don't take credit away from NE for capatilizing on bonehead mistakes. Brady did all that he's ever been required to do as QB: don't lose the game.

*golf clap
