You really didn't explain why you don't think they're a dynasty. You pretty much made a blanket statement thats being discussed in a bigger thread than your tiny one.

3 wins in 4 years does not a dynasty make. Lets seem them do it again next year, and the next, and the next...

I think Manning is a better regular season quarterback but Brady's got the rings...Similar to the Leinart vs. Rodgers debate in college football...

So who are the dynasties?

The Pats are only the 2nd team EVER to win 3/4.

What are the criteria exactly? Obviously there isn't a hard rule, but I think in this day of free agency and salary cap, they are absolutely a dynasty. In fact, there isn't really much to debate about that matter.

You can argue the status of Brady's greatness.

But if the Patriots aren't a Dynasty, then neither were the 90's Cowboys or the 80's Niners.

Massachusetts is having a heck of a year sportswise, first the Sox and now the Patriots. Wonder if Boston had another "happy" riot again. :p

Edit: I do agree that so far the Patriots are a dynasty. If they win just a couple more games this decade you can bet the next decades they'll be recalling the Patriots as the first dynasty of the millenia.

seeing as the other team with 3 wins in 4 years is called a dynasty, i say you are wrong,

I believe theyre a great team, indeed... but i think the patriots get it done... thats all they do. Cowboys had a lot of star players that made big big plays. How many insane plays did you see? Maybe 1 or 2 from the patriots... You must admit the game wasnt THAT exciting. Anyways, I think once again people are living in the moment. What about joe montana and the great 49'ers? John elway and the broncos?

I think people should step back, look at the situations, and look at the skills. (not that brady isnt skillfull at all, hes great.)

the fact that they DID NOT have a bunch of superstar players but still managed to "get it done" is more proof of their greatness as a team

That's good. Still I'm glad I don't have to head out to Boston until tomorrow. :p

That doesn't not make them a dynasty if they're "less enjoyable" to watch.

I disagree. I like watching consistant, steady teams just get it done.
