Patriot pc3200 2x256 2-2-2-5 $108

First I will say that it's $112.73, not including tax and second DAMN they got it back in stock. Now I'm pissed.

Actually they're still out of the 512MB, so everything is cool.

The 2x512mb 2-2-2-5 is $225, and OOS if anyone's wondering.

Different Patriot 2x512 2-2-2-5 for $187 plus shipping. Got this a couple weaks ago when it was even cheaper.

Those are actually rated 2-3-2-5; only the XBL is rated 2-2-2-5.

And while the cheaper set *may* run at 2-2-2-5 at PC3200 speeds, the XBL is guaranteed to do that, and much more. Why? Because the XBL uses Samsung TCCD ICs and a Brainpower PCB; the best combo out there for high FSBs at low latencies.

Then pay $40 for that *guaranteed* 1 extra RAStoCAS timing if you like. 🙂

Well, it's more like $40 for guaranteed TCCD; which is a steal compared to TCCD from Mushkin, OCZ, Corsair, GSkill, which all go for $260+.

I just got mine in today.
I'm gonna see how far I can overclock a cel-D-2.4 with it.
I got it up to 3ghz on my p4p800 with that hyperx 3200 bh5 mem that was
about $45 ea in that deal at frys. I going to put it on a FAR soyo dragon 2 v1
that i haven't got around to using yet. 😀
