Fuck Cancer.

PARTISAN ROCK

IN THE EARLY DAYS OF WORLD WAR III,
GUERILLAS, MOSTLY CHILDERN,
PLACED THE NAMES OF THEIR LOST
UPON THIS ROCK

THEY FOUGHT HERE ALONE
AND GAVE UP THEIR LIVES
"SO THAT THIS NATION
SHALL NOT PERISH
FROM THE EARTH."

RIP

At one point he said he had 2 years left.

He had the time of his life though... R I P

Fuck Cancer.

seriously.

My grandfather is terminal with sinus cancer and was given only a few months but it's been quite a long time. I've watched his quality of life dwindle down to basically nothing right now. He's in a nursing home, blind and practically deaf, and sometimes unaware of where he is or why he's there. Most of the time he sleeps but when he doesn't, he tries to get up and the nurses can't watch him full time. 90 year old man has fallen on the floor from his bed so many times I forget the count. He's been in and out of the ER 3 times in the last few months, each time with a different infection that he's managed to fight off. It's tearing my mom up. She tells me her mom (who I've never met) sat in a bed for a year from cancer too. This is bullshit.

Sad.

He was in a few really bad movies, but the good movies he was in are classics.

Ghost and Dirty Dancing will live on for a long long time.

Damn. I was really pulling for the guy, he put up an immense fight. This has echoes of Michael Landon, who died when he was just 54, and was also a class act. RIP Patrick, we'll be enjoying your work and remembering you ...

Pretty shitty week for cancer. Found out someone I've known for a year has lung cancer, inoperable, this weekend. Also, my highschool biology teacher has cancer at 55-ish.

pancreatic cancer, "the one-year relative survival rate is 20%, and the five-year rate is 4%." he fought hard for 2 years, and it was amazing that he kept working which made us hope he was feeling better and going to beat this. : /

RIP
