He has pancreatic cancer. I figured he wouldn't be around for long. The survival rate is quite grim.

Don't forget he also had lung and brain cancer as well at the same time that went into remission.

Ya... there was a reason I only said "Ghost". Ok, I haven't seen Outsiders or Roadhouse. I've seen him in Red Dawn (just don't like the movie that much), and the Vietnam one about the prisoners. He was still great, despite the ambivalence I feel towards those other movies.

pancreatic cancer is completely different...especially metastatic pancreatic cancer. it is pretty much a death sentence

I was surprised to hear how poorly he's doing. The last thing I had heard was that the cancer was in remission. I hadn't heard about the pancreatic cancer.
I've never heard of anyone beating that shit.

I just lost an aunt to pancreatic cancer. It was the worst to see what it did to her and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. She fought it for ten months and was doing pretty well, and then things went to shit in one month and she was gone.

It's terrible for any family to deal with it and I wish the Swayze family the very best in the coming month. They'll need it.
