Proving no one is not affected by discrimination.
He died in action, defending the very notion of NON-DISCRIMINATION, EQUALITY and JUSTICE.
You sit behind a monitor ridiculing him, safe in the freedom his death and those that came before him, have afforded you.
You're in the same category as the Muslim's in Afghanistan that wanted to kill the guy who converted to Christianity.
At the very least, you're an ingrate.

Absolutely not. I am entirely for this war and everything behind it, and support the troops more than 100%.

Unfortunately for whiny liberals who would like to smear offensive pentagrams all over a largely Judeo-Christian-based cemetary filled with sacred religious symbols, I do not support his wife's requests.

Now please go somewhere else with your attacking of anyone's patriotism and holier-than-thou spewing of the infamous "you sit back and watch while everyone else does the work" viewpoint. It does not apply here and is completely unnecessary in a situation such as this.

I usually don't do this, but: BAN!

p.s. Christian intolerance hasn't yet died. The way Constantine and the rest of his ilk forcibly converted northern European tribes and then slaughtered them when they reverted to their old beliefs and medicines is not a story often told. It is, however, the same despicable pattern that killed thousands of Jews during The Spanish Inquisition. Think about that the next time you disparage a wiccan's beliefs.

/soapbox.

Here's the basic gist of things:

A soldier of the Wiccan faith died.
When they went to bury him, they found out that no symbol had been approved yet for that faith.
A request was made for one.
Said request is now working its way through the government.

end of story.

Offensive? It's his belief. The fact that you believe the pentagram is some evil symbol shows how manipulated you've been.

I've known many witches... some while growing up, and even one now, and nothing they do i would consider offensive. If anything, they're just a bunch of hippies. Offensive on the other hand, is people demonizing other people simply because they don't believe in what you believe.
