I think they ought to give Aebischer a chance. He's a halfway decent goalie.

ABout the forsberg thing - apparently he wants to play one more yr in the NHL and then go back to Sweden after the labor problems mess up the NHL. That would suck.

Really sad day for hockey... Roy is one of my most favorite players... Been following him since his days with the habs... Also one of the reasons why Colorado is my favorite team...

Hey! I only mentioned the rumour... doesnt make it fact. I don't like Potvin. He was horrible in net for Toronto. 😛

He certainly is one of the best goalies to play in the NHL. He?s one of my fav. goalies next to Brodeur and Belfour.

Wow you got the same taste in goalies as me. Those 3 are my fav. goalies and the 4th one would be Khabibulan.

The only reason I think its a bad thing is because now the biggest part of the Detroit/Colorado rivalry is gone... Oh well, it looks like St. Louis is gonna be Detroit's next rival after those crazy brawls on the playoff stretch... I just wish he woulda retired after the game 7 "statue of liberty" screwup in last years playoffs... 😀 that woulda been awesome lol

btw HECK YEAH NJ!!! 1-0 in tha series!! I think Giguere is going to become the new Roy in Detroit...
