Patin Couffin engine

When I go to the Device Manager, I can see under VSO devices that it has an exclamation mark next to Patin Couffin engine for 64 bits system (AMD)

I have nothing AMD in my system any one know what this is,Running W7 64 bit , Abit IP35 Pro - e8400

"It is a component of that burning software, try letting it auto install, if it asks for a location direct it to the program(s) folder in turn if more than 1 and see if it will pick up what it needs, otherwise try reinstalling that software, did this software come on a disk ? if it did put that in the optical drive and cancel any screens that come up, then try the auto install directing it to the disk, if it was a file extract it if need be and direct it to that location, see if any of that helps, but it is a part of VSO software used for burning. Roxio has been on the system awhile

The AMD is probably a reference to AMD64, because AMD invented the 64-bit x86 architecture extensions.

Linux distros are tagged with "AMD64" for 64-bit versions, even though they also run on Intel.

Did you install or uninstall VSO's ConvertXtoDVD? The pcouffin driver is for the DVD burning function of ConvertXtoDVD. You may have not selected to install it during the installation or it did not install properly; or if you uninstalled the program it did not uninstall.

If you have and want ConvertXtoDVD then re-install the program and select to install the pcouffin driver if you want to use the burning function.

If you uninstalled ConvertXtoDVd then use VSO's CleanVSO to remove the pcouffin driver.
