Got a possible useful Amulet but not sure how to price it and what kind of build would find it useful.

Item Class: Amulets
Rarity: Rare
Havoc Gorget
Turquoise Amulet
--------
Requirements:
Level: 40
--------
Item Level: 59
--------
+20 to Dexterity and Intelligence (implicit)
--------
+40 to all Attributes
42% reduced Lightning Damage
32% reduced Armour
24% increased maximum Energy Shield

Not worth anything and I'll explain why.

+40 to all attributes - You can roll up to +35 on an amulet so +40 is just 1 step outside of max roll
42% reduced lightning damage - downside that only matters to someone using lightning
32% reduced armour - lots of people use armour so this is not a good downside
24% increased max energy shield - You can roll up to 22% normally on amulets so this is just barely outside of top roll

So essentially you have a 2 affix amulet at best and a 2 affix amulet with double down side at worst. Amulet slots are reserved for specific uniques or high damage followed up with life and resists.

Just as a rule of thumb - if I ever get anything that I think might be worth something, I just dump it into a public "1C buyout" tab
I'll know pretty quick if it's worth more than 1C. And if I'm getting spammed, I will quick look up similar items to see what I SHOULD be listing it as.

So I'm really new to PoE, just started end of last season never really understood the economy to appreciate all the complaints this time around, but can KINDA see it. My issue is I have about 8 divines to improve my gear but really not sure what to get. I followed this build (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2618769) but apparently as you get to end game I should have a much better, higher DPS weapon. Do I just search for and buy the highest physical weapon I can afford or any other suggestions? Character - https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Illuminance_DY/characters
I feel like I've had my boots forever, but finding or searching for rares is such a crap shoot.

Do you want to play that exact build or are you OK with Berserker Sunder?

Oh, I am using sunder and have been for most of the build. I followed the passive tree for the most part and equipment recommendations. I've played it enough that I've tweaked my gems to die less, took me forever to figure out AN was a reason for most of my deaths. I was like how does this make any sense to crush or farm something then BAM one shot death... cool. But after reading the forums it makes more sense and I'm not alone.

Sorry, I meant do you want to play the exact build you referenced with Sunder as the main skill or do you just want to play as a Berserker Sunder build in general? I ask because there isn't a whole lot you can do with this build and you'll just waste currency on it. Switching over to the strength stacking version is your best bet and would be a drastic improvement. I can help you either way.

unexplained, out of the blue, one-shot (sometimes off screen!) deaths are POE's bread and butter! Welcome to Wraeclast, exile! :)

@RPD listen to this man. He knows more about POE and builds, than times I've died in POE. He's helped me through countless leagues (though I've given up on this one)

Oh I'm open to all suggestions. Right now my play style is like a long (for melee) range sniper, I sunder and move in a circle until stuff is dead, trying to maintain my distance. What is the strength stacking version?

Yea... had that explained to me as well. For the record, if I can brag here, I was told my "street cred" for POE was taking a deadeye to act 8 with zero knowledge of the game. I read nothing about, builds or watched any videos. Went in 100% blind. Built based on ARPG knowledge or tons of D1/D2 (with mods) and D3 among other games.

Strength stacking versions: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds?class=Berserker&skill=Sunder&sort=dps

They use Brutas Lead Sprinkler and push strength to scale the fire damage from the weapon. You're sitting around 650-700k DPS right now with roughly 20-24k EHP. With 8 divine you could swap into the strength stacking version and have around 4-5m DPS with double the EHP. I could be low on the DPS as well for your investment depending on what stuff is selling for on trade.

So.many.cluster.jewels.... Definately don't have any of those unique jewels, the other gear yes. I have a lot of regrets (I'm OCD and pick up everything), best to respec after getting the gear or just make a new character?

If you respec before you get your equipment you are committed to not playing until you finish buying everything. I'd suggest you buy everything first unless you respec during high traffic hours so you don't get in a situation where you can't find items at decent prices. I would try this individuals build first as it's still Resolute Technique and he's using cheaper gear overall: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/Diavolo121/DerpnDave?time-machine=week-2&i=0&search=time-machine=week-2&class=Berserker&skill=Sunder&keystone=Resolute-Technique&sort=dps

Copying the above will get you 4-5m DPS no problem and probably more like 6-7m with the currency you have. If you need help finding exact items let us know and we can link items to fill slots.

Well ya obviously I'd respec after obtaining most the items, I was just curious if that is a thing, seems like with the age of the game people don't respec much as they know a built and the regret orbs aren't used much other than light tweaking.
I double checked my stash and apparently I recalled what I had incorrectly. I thought I had the shield and weapon, but I guess I got them last league. For now I'll try to get the big ticket item first (6L chest) and other parts afterwards. Kinda pissed was at 88% to 95 last night, log in, make a map and promptly lag out to first mobs in there and die... so instead of leveling I got back up to 92%... Want to level to try a bunch of new content I've been saving. Looks like the actual equipment is cheap, the gems are what are going to cost me.

Guys, I need help buying the items to push into the next level for the RF build. Trouble I'm running into is that all the resistances are interlinked so it's tricky to upgrade something without having to redo other the other crafting. I have 90c to work with currently. I would like to upgrade my amulet first so I can anoint it with Arsonist.

I'm at level 84 and doing Yellow maps. Collecting Sulphite to do Delve is holding me back in going deep with any speed. I've spec'd the Atlas tree to be mostly Delve bonuses.

If you need some currency, I'm guessing I still have some in my stash. I can dump into guild stash if you want... I think you're the guild?

Yea. Still in the guild. You're done for this league?

Probably? I know if I give you my currency I will be :)
I won't cry about it either way. Let me see what I have and I will dump it in the stash
I dont think any of my gear is worth all that much - prob my 6L Tinkerskin. I will undress and leave you that stuff too.

Is my total life good? I've been using my skill points to unlock gem locations for 6-7% life increases.

Also why lifetap for RF in the 6-link?

I don't see a mod for "Fire Damage Over Time Multiplier". Should I use the fire and cold combined one when I unveil it or increased fire dmg (13-16%)?

It's fine for where you're at right now but you'll want to aim to get around 5k later.

The reason I put Lifetap in is because you have Swift Affliction as one of your links. Swift affliction affects skills that have a duration tag. Vaal Righteous Fire has a duration tag but regular Righteous Fire doesn't...so it doesn't do anything for it. Right now you're really only on a 4L because of this. However, if you put Lifetap as a support it adds a duration tag to the skill and then Swift Affliction works with it as long as you have the Lifetap buff up.
So what you do is make sure you always have the Lifetap buff by making sure the Lifetap support on other skills is always activated by 1 cast. So lets say your Fire Trap costs 100 life per throw and Molten Shell costs 50 life per use. The Lifetap supports on those links should only be leveled high enough so they active from 1 cast of those spells. The RF Lifetap can then be maxed out because it only needs the buff active to give you damage. The reason people go through all this is because Swift Affliction is a strong link early on before moving into more end game setups.

I'd actually make an alternate suggestion for right now and that's scrap the 6L armour I listed above and buy one of these: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Kalandra/0E25Retg . These armours have a random key stone at the bottom of them. Just buy one that doesn't negatively hurt your build. It'll give you more defense and more damage than the 6L I posted above for right now.

Picked one up with Perfect Agony at now tooltip dmg for RF is 127k. I think the next goal is to up my chaos res.

Just realized the 5th slot for the map device isn't a payed feature. I have 4 different splinters. Do I just place them in and go fight? How hard a fight should I expect?

Oh, I realized you need a 100 of each first. Do you need to do it each league?

You do need to do it every league. Generally it's only something you'd do at full end game when you were really juicing your maps. What a lot of people do is block off the league mechanics they don't like in the Atlas passive tree and spec into Stream of Consciousness. In regards to paid feature, if you're talking real money then PoE has no pay walls to any in game content. The only pay wall they have is you need at least 1 premium stash tab to have items show up for trade.
