PATA and SATA hardrives together

Can I hook up an SATA hardrive into my system with a PATA HD? I have the SATA connectors on MB.

Yes. I have 4 Seagate 120 GB Barracudas installed - 3 PATA and 1 SATA. They love each other. :)
