I'm no fan either.
It's not their reading comprehension, it's their selective reading interpretation.

Are you sure? Tell me where in the following that Robertson advocates bombing the State Department...Originally posted by: alm4rr
Reading comp is just fine.
Robertson, who has been a frequent critic of the State Department, made the offending comments during an interview with a like-minded critic of US diplomacy, columnist Joel Mowbray, who has written a book entitled "Dangerous Diplomacy: How the State Department Threatens American Security."
"I read your book," Robertson said, according to a transcript of the interview posted on his Christian Broadcasting Network's website (www.cbn.com).
"When you get through, you say, 'If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom, I think that's the answer'," he said.
"I mean, you get through this, and you say, 'We've got to blow that thing up.' I mean, is it as bad as you say?" Robertson asked.
Mowbray responded: "It is."
All Robertson was doing was quoting what the other guy said and then asked him if it was really that bad.

Wrong. Robertson is saying that when one gets through the book, to the end, one (specifically, he) thinks "we got to blow that thing up" ... "if I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom"
This is his reaction to the book!

What about when he said, " Well, it looks like Congress had better do something, and maybe we need a very small nuke thrown off on Foggy Bottom to shake things up" on TV in June?
