Sounds like little Richy needs a good kick in the ass. Well, not everyone can be as good a man as Pat Tillman. It is tough to live up to a brother's footsteps like that. Pat still needs people praying for him to have a chance to get into heaven. You know alot of soldiers find God in the middle of war? Hopefully Pat had found Jesus before it was too late.

Bwhahahaha yeah pray some more.

The man is dead and yet you want to dishonor him by saying some crap like that. Why? He had his own beliefs and you are insulting him. :|

That's the Evangelical Christian Way.

Well believe me I am not the only person who has prayed for Pat Tillman. His brother is just struggling to deal with the fact that so many people care. He cannot understand it. It was his brother but no one to the rest of us. Still we see him as a heroic individual and we'd like to think he will be saved.
You know people once prayed for me and hopefully they still do. But alot of people prayed for me that I would find my way to the Lord. It worked I am glad to say. The Lord really does answer prayers and I am a living testament to that.

Man, I don't have a little brother, but if I did and he spoke at my funeral I'd hope he'd say something just as awesome.

Pat isn't with God,'' he said. "He's f -- ing dead. He wasn't religious. So thank you for your thoughts, but he's f -- ing dead.''
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well he might be right but he might not be, I have seen a lot of men get religious after they go to war real fast, Like the Lt. said when we all got ready to go into combat for the first time, I remember it well he said for all you boys that don't beleive in God you better be finding a good alternate cause you will need it, He was right and many got religious right before they died so take it for what it is worth

A lot of people convert on their death bed. Why? To hedge their bets. If there is a god all is good and they go to heaven. If there is not a god it doesn't matter that they sold out their ideals because they are dead.

I bet a lot of it is fear based too. God is a very comforting thought, the fact that there is someone out there in that vast vast universe that cares about you. Dying alone seems like it would be pretty disconcerting and I've never been near death but I bet that the shock of realising that what is happening is the end would make you think kinda crazy.

No I think Rich knew his brother a little better then you or I did and he is only reflecting what Pat would of said had he been there. It really doesn't matter what you, I or the media thinks when it comes to who Pat was a person. His family are the ones who knew the kind of guy Pat was or wasn't. I think it's a damn shame to redefine the man to meet some peoples mental picture of who they think Pat was like even though they didn't know the guy at all.

It takes a lot of guts to pull something like that off, but it worked and got a good point across.
