If the man's story is true, this is absolutely pathetic, and hopefully we will hear more of this story. I can only imagine that at least some of this event was recorded by law enforcement. If anyone can chime in about how search dogs are supposed to react when drugs/humans are detected, please do so.

Actual footage of him being beaten. Though I think he is an absolute nut (judging by his videos) he is still a person that should of never been treated this way for standing by his rights as an American. I hope all of those involved in the beating get sued out of house and home and lose their badges.

Obviously they were rough with him, because he ended up bloody. But I'm not seeing the beating you guys are seeing. I see him being tazed, obviously. I see an officer swinging a baton a few times, likely to break the glass out of the window. Then I see them drag him out of the car and take him to the ground. Everything that happens from then on is partially obscured and too small for me to make out what's going on, but I don't see any fists clearly flying or anything like that. Maybe it would help if you provided some timestamps and what to look for?

Obviously the guy was resisting arrest, and when they have to take you by force you're probably going to have some injuries. What's not clear is whether they had any justification to arrest him at all. It seems like they did not, or perhaps their drug dog needs more training. As in most cases where cops (possibly) abuse their power, he would have been better off if he dealt with the abuse through the proper channels. But then he wouldn't have any injuries to show on Youtube.

Exactly. No where did I say the guy didn't sustain those injuries during his arrest but there was no "beating" on that video. I think you had it right, these people must think that the dude swinging his baton at the window to break it was the "beating" but that doesn't seem to be the case even by the guy's own account. He was surprised that they broke the driver's side so clearly from the video and the account - those swings weren't the "beating". There must be something else not shown if there was a "beating".

If it happened the way he says, we need to publicly execute all of the officers involved. Until people fear for their lives should they commit these offenses, they WILL NOT STOP. If no one else has the balls I'd pull the trigger myself. If it didn't happen the way he said, well, then just fire them, seize all their assets, and let them live starving and homeless.

Ahhhhh, just watched the second video (of the actual scene). Looks like he misrepresented the situation a bit. Still over the top by the officers, but not as bad as I originally feared. Once they say you're under arrest, it's over until you sue them into oblivion. However, I still firmly believe that any officer committing such acts (unwarranted exercises of power resulting in physical violence or infringement of civil liberties) should be fired, and prevented from EVER obtaining government jobs or assistance again.

If they'd gone to violence without actually placing him under arrest, then I'd want them put down, and would support any person who chose to defend themselves against similar actions using any means available.
