Pastor calls for the execution of all gays at Repub. event.

Sounds like a nice guy

I do laugh when people quote the bible though. Is it in there? Sure is! But did Jesus say any of it? Hint at it? Give an inkling? Did he say it was icky?

Hoping someone would bring this up. Post it.
Rachel Maddow covered this extensively on her show Monday night.
Still tivo-able on MSNBC on the early morning rerun.
Watching this pastor rant like some Adolf Hitler against homosexuality is well worth the watch.
One of those WHAT? WHAT? OMG WTF WHAT? moments for sure.

If you read or hear of brutal possibly fatal attacks against gays in Iowa and more so in Des Moines area within the next few weeks, this display of pure hate will be the cause.
And three republican presidential candidates attended this gathering in Des Moines.
Cruz, Huckabee, and Jindal.

Crazy talk. That guy has the most repressed sexuality I've ever seen. I bet he would be appalled if his wife wanted to give him head. Grounds for divorce.

Wow. That guy is a loony psychopath. Unfortunately I watched that while eating dinner and it pretty much killed my appetite.

No happy faces on open pussy sores and kill the Gays, because Bible...not me, the Bible!!!

Oh, don't kill them quite yet......

Yet another Christian leader who wants to inflict pain, suffering and death on people that they disapprove of? Big deal... Jesus only loves some people and since Christians believe in him they get to decide who Jesus loves. They are even willing to pray for damnation to rain down upon the heads of heathens just to keep the Sky Guy busy! Their beliefs come from an old story book about some homeless dudes who followed this one homeless dude around a long time ago.

There was lots of money, animals, sex, wine, food and problems with the authorities in it, but IMO the book was still a big yawn. For some reason some people formed an apocalyptic death cult around it.

Nice, religious liberties conference. Liberty for whom exactly?

Apparently for Christians to impose Sharia law on those they see fit to judge.

So because some idiot makes idiotic remarks that makes it ok to bring in 20 million illegals from leftist nations to vote for handouts to pay for the bringing in of 20 million more leftist voters? OK

Yes, that's totally what everyone is saying in this thread.

Is there a video of someone lobbying to have 20 million illegals cast 20 million illegal vote to a large donor PAC meeting with candidates present?
Otherwise its a different topic

Why is it that people continually try to absolve Jesus when it comes to gays and gay marriage but condemn his Christian followers even though he is just as guilty as them.

Jesus gave the definition of marriage

He answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator made them male and female,
5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and will be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?
6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
Male and female, not male and male, female and female, male and his toaster, etc.

And he didn't contradict the laws against homosexuality during that time.

17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

18For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished
As to why Jesus didn't speak out against or for gays and gay marriage is because they lived under a theocracy not a democracy where homosexuality was punished by death and there wasn't any type of debate against it or for it like today,

Paul on the other hand was sent to the Gentiles where being gay was acceptable that is why he spoke against it.

So if you are going to condemn Christians for their beliefs on gays, condemn Jesus as well.
