Full disclosure I've recently started attending church again. I like the community aspect of it and it feels right. However I do not support religion getting mixed into politics and school.

Atheism is simply the lack of belief in a god/gods. Most atheists I know, and myself included simply lack faith, as faith is the belief in something without evidence. I don't claim there is no god because I cannot know for sure.
