Maybe someone can tell me how to get rid of the screen that asks me for my windows network password. I do not have one and dont want one. How can i get rid of this screen???

Just incase it matters this is for windows 98SE

Thanks

I believe that as soon as your comp is on a netowr, it asks for one. I know of no way on SE or ME for thatmatter to get rid of it ;(

You can eliminate the logon password prompt as follows. With your system up Right click on Network Neighborhood Icon and chose Properities. Change your Primary Network Logon to Windows Logon. Click OK and you should be prompted to restart your computer. Say yes and after it restarts it should boot all the way to your desktop without a password. Hope this helps. 😀
