Is it possible to add a password to gain access to those usb flash/jump drives? They're very easy to loose and I"d like a way to protect the data on it if that happens.

hmm i haven't heard about being able to do that. but you could just encrypt the files that you have.

you can encrypt the files themselves and i've seen keychains that are encrypted themselves but cant find them at the moment. a good idea in case you lose it.

Many have PW protection... IBM has that and partitioning app that allows you to encrypt data.

Hmm, I have a 256mb PNY keychain and it didn't come with any encryption or password protection software :frown:

Need to find some software...

Basically I keep my resume on it with other backup files, photos, etc...Just want to keep prying eyes away from my personal data, just like you'd password protect your computer.

I have a Sony that has encryption, but you have to load the encryption software onto your PC to enable it - and on any machine you have to read it off of. So if you lose/break the disk you are screwed.
