I lock my computer when I get out of the room. My gf knows my login password as I trust her on my computers and laptop. Everyone else I don't let them know my password.

My computer runs Linux, so it has my root password and my user password... that's it. The password-protected screen saver in Gnome is set to go off in 5 minutes of inactivity, and I also created a button on the upper toolbar (is there a name for it?) that I can click to activate the screen saver immediately. The screen saver uses the user password.

edit: I just wish the filesystem was encrypted. Alas, anyone with physical access can do anything they want.

I didn't use em when the computer was mine, but I gave all my pc's to my family for family use. And theres lots of family members who get on em, so its nice having our own logons.

I have a BIOS password, and an XP password, EFS turned on for all of my files. The case of the computer is locked, and it's tied with a Kensington lock to the water pipe. If you ask, why I need all that, I can't answer. Nobody ever uses my computer except me, just in case.
