Password Locking Folders in WinXP

This may sound like a strange question, but does anyone know how to password lock folders in XP? I need to keep unwanted visitors out of some important system folders, so they can't destroy anything by accident or something. It would be helpful if in this method of locking the folder, it wasn't possilbe to change or get rid of the password without knowing it in the first place. Thanks in advance.

If the visitors are using another user, just set the security on the folder so that only you have access. If they are using your user name, I dont think there is a way to do that.

You have to disable simple file sharing in tools/folder options. It's stupid that microsoft sets it as on by default. Maybe for winxp home, but they shouldn't have for xp professional.
