Password in Internet Explorer

A friend of mine's kids enabled a ''Supervisor'' password for Content Advisor in Internet Explorer Options. The kids don't remember the password, and now he can't connect to the internet. When he tries to disable Content Advisor he is prompted for the password. Is there a way to remove this password through Windows Registry or by another method? He's running Win98 and IE 4.
