Passport office in Miami question

Has anyone been to the federal passport agency in Miami where they make your passport right there. I was told you have to be traveling within 14 days to get it done there otherwise you have to go to a regular passport office and then it takes the few weeks to get to you.

I am wondering when you provide them your travel booking if they actually call and check on it or just want a paper to look at before they let you get in line. Because I am traveling in 21 days and can easily make my booking look like its a week before lol. All this because an ex of mine tossed my passport knowing I was leaving for Mexico.
 
You can probably get it with rushed service before you leave by just going to an office at your post office.
 
Yes the passport offices do check many times and if you lie you will not get a PP for a long time. There is a Fraud Prev. Manager at every passport office let alone all Passport Spec. keep a eye out for anything that does not seem right.

Pay for the rush service and return it NOW.

If you send it in right now with rushed service you will get it very quickly. Got mine in like 10 calendar days, or less can't recall but it was really fast. But I was able to send them my old one as well.

grrrr well I am going to be in Miami anyways, so when I go to one of the regular offices I will get the rush done, its not worth going to jail over
 
You should also take the bitch to small claims court to recoup the cost of the new passport and possibly rush service which would total ~$150 when all is said and done.

I would definitely report your old one as stolen.
(Can you say identity theft?)

She paid me money to get it replaced.....and yes I have the form filled out about it being lost

Forgot about the ex. IIRC, ID theft is a felony.😱
