My cousin is having a "passion party" this Friday night. Any ideas on what I am to expect? Do you know anyone who has been to one before?
 
Does that seem weird to anyone else that these parties even exist? I guess I can see them existing, but why you would want to go discuss dildo's with relatives is beyond me.
 
huh.....is your cousin religious?

Could it be an Easter thing and everyone is supposed to sit around and watch The Passion of the Christ, and cry and stuff?

if so....yuck.
 
I find the idea of buying "marital aids" in a communal setting with one's mother and grandmother to be very disturbing, but somehow women end up doing it all the time.

I didn't realize those were called "Passion" parties...I thought they were called "Toy" parties or something.

They're fun. There's usually some alcohol served and one or two people who pretty much control the party by talking about all the toys, lubes, etc. Different toys are usually passed around the room and samples of lubes and creams are sometimes handed out for testing. (So don't be surprised if they ask you to take a little of 'this' and put it on 'that' and send you to the bathroom.)

When it comes to ordering time, you're usually asked to go into a room (not in front of everybody) to place your order or given ways to order through the hostess later.
