Well, I've been thinking about it for awhile now and I think it's time for me to move on and leave ATOT. I'll still be here every once in a while to say "Hi", but the time has come.

I have one last thing I think I shall do. Being the resident Photochopper(SHUT UP! :p) I thought I might take this time and teach some Photoshop newbies some techniques of mine. The poll included will decide on what I do, more than likely.

So, what will it be? Anyone interested in learning a thing or two?

BTW, I will stay for awhile if I end up doing some teaching and have NewB, Intermediate, and Advanced "classes". :) (IE, lessons that teach how to do specific tricks and special effects)

I may even include a lesson or wo on how to "PhotoCHOP" ala the Viper thread. :D

I'd take you up on your offer, but there is nothing I can learn from you :p

But if you're looking to sharpen up your skill, you can always PM me.....no need to be shy.

Dude, I'll do it...though again, it would be more of an exchange type deal than a teaching...e.g. we both know a decent amount but have got different styles

what would really be good is if each tutor who posted a lesson put up a pic that he/she wanted the students to work with,we could then post our results, we'd get critic and everybpdy would get to watch as people's skill level increased.

OK, the replies seem quite nice...even though "You suck" beat everything else by at least 5%. :disgust: ;)

OK, I'll start with a newbie class as soon as possible, and then after that I'll put up a Chop Class.

The newbie class will start with the knowledge of tools and their uses, followed by easy photo touching up.

The Chop Class will start with a basic photo and the objective is to make it either funny or as different as possible, while trying to maintain REALISTIC looks. IE, Marty cannot participate. ;) :p:p

The Chop class with be slightly advanced, because more than likely it will deal with changing colors/shades, tranparencies, tranforming, etc.

Oh, and BTW...IT'LL BE GREAT FUN! :D:D:D

This is very cool of you to do, I'm looking forward to learning, I've gotten some books and been studying but some of the editing tools are still quite confusing to me.

even after when these classes are done, if any of you have problems I'm sure we have plenty of Photoshop experts on this board to help you guys out.
