WTF!? That's crazy. I'm not sure if the toenail clippings or dentures(?) are the worst, but they're definitely disgusting. Seriously though, what the hell is that in that fifth picture?

clearly they're paying for the space in front of their chair, why not put their feet there?

The only time I got pissed off was when some stupid lady complained that her daughter (about 11 years old) was sitting between two men.

Fine...whatever, but the problem was one of the men (in the aisle seat) was offended and kindly offered to let her take his seat so they could sit together - and the woman refused because she wanted to keep a window seat.

The other guy was not about to give up his window seat and every flight attendant was called to calm the woman down because she wanted to create a scene.

Finally she gave up after the flight attendant offered her to take another flight where they could sit together.

Everyone in the plane was pissed and no one wanted her to win. Her daughter was a fat blob too which made it even more hilarious to me. Stupid ass complained the whole flight after it took off. People were laughing their ass off after a while.

This drove me nuts when I worked retail, like at the pizza shop - we ran out of medium boxes one day, so we were putting all of the medium pizzas in large boxes & labeling them with a "sorry we ran out of medium boxes" note. One lady comes back in 10 minutes lady fuming that her pizza didn't fit in the box. I pointed out the note and apologized that we had run out of the medium box size (like it mattered?? the pizza was still the same size, just with an extra few inches of space in the box!) but she threw a FIT. I finally offered her the pizza for free just to make her happy & get her out of the store, or even to make her a large pizza to fit in the box at no additional cost, but she was so mad that she just wanted her money back. I refunded her & she left without dinner in a huff. Even the other customers were cracking up at that point, haha. The employees enjoyed eating the free leftover pizza :D

I get at some point you just want dumb people to go away, but really, you're just encouraging this behavior...

People with no self-respect are willing to throw fits at retail locations because they know a lot of store's policies is to get the loud, angry customers away from the other customers & placate them. You can't always do it, of course - depends on the circumstances - but in this case if you have ten people standing in line waiting for their hot pizza & one lady who has already taken up 10 minutes of your time, your options are (1) tell her no & try to get her to leave (which she wasn't doing), (2) call the cops to make the situation move (time-consuming mess), or (3) take her $8 pizza back, refund her money, and move on to the next customer. You have to respect other customer's time too, especially in the food business where the product is hot & needs to be picked up as quickly as possible. Just depends on how you want to roll...you can involve the authorities if needed, but for eight bucks...meh. She didn't get a free pizza out of it, at least :D

I remember one old dude came into Staples when I worked there, LOUDLY demanding a refund for his ink cartridges. Which he did not have a receipt for. Which were 2 years old. Which were bought at Walmart, not Staples. That was fun

Yeah, some of the pictures you posted aren't bad.

Putting your feet up is OK, I think. Taking your shoes off or sticking your feet in between seats are not. But I might be more bendy on the shoes rule for trans-atlantic/pacific flights.

Trimming your nails... Meh... I'm torn on this one. But it would fall under the shoes/socks rule.

If it's a cross-ocean flight and the seat in front of you is empty, then I'm even ok with putting your feet up on the chair behind you or even between seats provided no one is sitting there.

I had a guy start cleaning his ears one flight and just through the swabs on the floor.

I have encountered the people that get separated from the rest of their party and throw a fit even when someone is willing to swap seats because they either wanted the aisle or window instead of what they got.

If anyone puts there bare feet anywhere near me on a flight they are getting an immediate public shaming. No internet pictures required. I'm not someone who can keep there mouth shut when it comes to people being overly obnoxious. My girlfriend is even worse though. She will regulate a whole section of the airplane. Heaven help you if your kid starts kicking her seat.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say an internet picture or public shaming of a dude who doesn't care to the point he'll take his shoes and socks off and put them between your seat? Yeah, it's probably not going to do a bit of good. That person's clearly past the point of being shamable.

that last one is super common BTW

Well since it's a dividing wall they are not bothering anyone, I see zero problems with this but anyone who would put their naked feet right next to my head is going to have an issue, they might get "accidentally" poked with something sharp..

I'm more curious how someone can think showing someone's feet in anyway shames them personally.

As much as I've flown I guess I've been lucky that no one has ever put bare feet next to my face before. On the other hand there is something about being in a metal tube that makes people retarded. I mean - really, how hard is it to not hit someone in the face with a purse or backpack? I'm guessing you don't have a chair in front of your couch at home so do you really need to pull down on the chair in front of you in a plane to get your lazy ass up?
