It's pretty high for bar exams - maybe 75% across the country (around 90% for the good schools). I think it's because of the stakes - I know someone who failed the bar exam on her first try and it was a huge blow. She paid $1K for the test itself, plus $2K in BarBri courses, and she had to wait 6 months to retake the test and wait another couple months to get her results. So if you fail the bar exam, you're out a few grand and more importantly, unable to practice law for at least another 8-9 months.Originally posted by: PoPPeR
what's the passing rate for things like the bar exam? I remember reading from ASU's website that only 16% passed the CPA exam last year, and 16-25 is a pretty consistant expectation
