Yep it will not get you a job, BUT it will get your foot in the door.

I have a IS degree and a Mgt Degree and can;t get a job as HR people look for either A+, Network+, MCP. etc... and without that you don;t get a interview. Does not matter I have done as much if not more then others, I can't even get a interview without the Cert's.
The only thing I worry about is the OLD school OS stuff and hardware stuff. Like ISA slots, win 95, etc... So how much of the A+ tests were on older tech? That is what I am worried about.

I also graduated with an IS degree. and am now doing certs.

take the test man. its not that bad.

congradulations, it was a good foot in the door certification.

For our first live broadcast of the year, we didn't get a chance to preview one segment because the kid said he "knew what [he] was doing" and the bastard spelled congratulations congradulations. Nothing like broadcasting that over the entire school for your initial broadcast and turning off all the english department.

Edit: Oh yeah, I was really trying to get at why people misspell(sp?) it congradulations when people never write congrads.

Notice Zim's post? Congrats, not congrads.
Yes! my evil plot worked. (I spell it that way to piss off grammar nazi's 😛)
