Party Poker or Absolute Poker?

I play at both. I personally dislike Party Poker because the hands don't seem to be realistically distributed. There are a lot of fish there, but there are also a lot of sharks.

Absolute has extremely crappy software, but their tables are amazingly soft and they have some good tournaments. Bonuses are easier to clear at Party, but are more plentiful at Absolute.

It's really a coin flip. I'd try Party Poker first because they have really easy bonus requirements.

Party rules. it's 10x bigger than absolute, thus you can find a HUGE selection of whatever table u want at whatever time you want. and of course full of inexperienced players.

no offense, but PSO's rakeback is laughable. 27.5% rackback is in the form of PSO points. And it takes ~5000 PSO points for $50 in cash back.

thus the rakeback at PSO is effectively .275%

others offer pure 25% cashback at Party and it's skins.

You hit refill once, sit in with $500, rinse and repeat until you have $10,000. Then leave and go into a limit game where you can sit in with all your money. Post a blind to see a flop then quickly leave and refill to $10,000 again. Repeat as many times as you'd like.

really??? i thought the calculations were like this:

2000 raked hands @ $1 per rake = $2000 for the whole table
assume an avg of 9 players at the table = $2000/9 = ~$220 = rake you generated

220 x 27.5% = 60 PSO points (and not $60 cash)

You need 6000 PSO points for a $60 gift certificate

Can you link PSO webpage that explains it differently, and copy/paste that section here?

party poker seems to have predetermined hands where two people at the table will both catch big hands. pocket aces also win much less than 80% of the time
