Party poker says it plans on cancelling all American real money accounts after the prez signs the bill.

I don't get it. Many other sites are finding ways around this bill, why would PP flip flop so weak on the issue?

Any other opinions on this? I like PP mostly because I can start 10 SNG's within minutes of each other, and play in a few nightly 2500 person tourneys that I usually cash in.

Your guess is as good as mine. I've been following this very closely and I honestly can't understand it. It makes no sense to me.

They made their money. Why bother continuing business if/when this bill is passed?

Please list me one U.S. poker site that is successfully "finding ways around this bill."

I'll gladly do that if you'll list me one U.S. poker site.

it was already illegal.

and it's the casinos that are doing it. harrahs can't make as much money because, if you can gamble at home, why bother driving 600 miles to vegas or new orleans or atlantic city to do so?

No legal way around it? Right now it only stops banks / CC from depositing money into sites.... There are plenty of sites like neteller that can take money legally from US banks, because it is used to pay for lots of things, not just poker sites...

Then neteller being based in UK has the rights to deposit your money where you want it to be deposited.

This is how most of the other poker sites plan on dealing with the issue. Currently most banks and CC companies wont deposit to offshore poker sites anyway, so in functionality this wouldnt change much, but some poker sites are being gaffy about it.
